PSE&G to Begin Construction on Reliability Projects in Hopewell

PSE&G, in their ongoing efforts to increase reliability of electrical service, in Hopewell Valley and their surrounding service areas, will be initiating construction of multiple improvement projects within Hopewell Township that will intermittently impact traffic. One improvement project consists of an expansion of the Mount Rose Electrical Substation located on Pennington Rocky Hill Road near the Hopewell-Princeton Road / Carter Road intersection.  Other projects consist of the construction of new transmission lines along two separate routes to improve interconnections between the Mount Rose substation and other locations. Information on the projects are included on the attached materials.

Motorists are reminded to watch for road closing notifications and to follow posted detour and road work signs while these projects are completed.

These projects will start in the second quarter of 2021 and are expected to go through fall of 2022.
