In an effort to improve its emergency communications, Hopewell Township has launched a new community notification service designed to deliver important and timely information to residents in our area using the latest technology. This new service is called SwiftReach. Using Swift911, Township officials are able to send recorded voice messages to home phones and cell phones, text messages to cell phones and email messages.

This notification system was built to provide secure and reliable communications and connects municipal agencies to residents in real time. Officials can map out a select area for notification or send a message to all of Hopewell Valley, depending on the event.

Swift911 will supplement other methods currently used to rapidly get important information out to residents such as cable television notices and updates to the Hopewell Township website.

The time to register is now; don't wait for an emergency to happen.

Phone Numbers

The Township has already obtained home phone (landline) contact information from Verizon and Comcast for emergency use. However, the Township does not have access to phone numbers for any other phone service providers. The Township also does not have access to cell phone data or email addresses.

Any resident seeking to receive all possible emergency information from Hopewell Township must register their cell phone and email information with Swift911. In order to register additional phones, cell phones and emails please use the Swift911 website.

If needed you can call the Hopewell Valley Office of Emergency management at 609.737.3100 ext 5690 for assistance.

Unlisted numbers and TDD/TTY requirements can all be entered.

If you previously registered your cellular phone number and/or email address with CodeRED you will need to re-register with SwiftReach.
