Recreation

Programs & Services

The Recreation Department offers a wide variety of community trips, family trips, senior programs, youth & teen programs, summer camps and community events, and are looking to expand our offerings even more!  Please take a few minutes to complete the Recreation Survey.

Our goal this Spring & Summer season is to get our community connected again through Recreation, while prioritizing everyone's health and safety.  We will continue to bring you all the core programs that you have come to look for and rely on, but we have been diligently working to bring you new programs, camps, and events, so there is literally SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!!!

We will return this summer with our "Movies in the Park" and expanding with 2 evenings of "Concerts in the Park" at Woolsey.  The Recreation Department will also be hosting MLB "Pitch, Hit, and Run" event at the MAC Site, as well as bringing "Soap Box Derby" racing to Hopewell.  These are all great events that can be an enormous amount of family fun and most are FREE!!

For our Adult & Senior Residents, we are offering our Adult Tennis Program and Virtual Painting classes.  Missing Broadway?  Join us for a "Broadway's Beginnings Virtual Tour" in April.  We also have outdoor activities planned just for our Seniors that include a Magic Show and Musical Concert this Spring!!

With the warm weather just around the corner, Hopewell Recreation has numerous offerings for the children!  We have 7 brand new programs like "Pre-K Camp" and "Rec Camp in the Park", as well as our well known "Art in the Park" and sports camps scheduled from June through August.

All programs, events, clinics, and camps can be found in the 2021 Spring/Summer Program Guide, as well as under "Summer Camps 2021", and "Spring 2021 Programs" on this website.  Please call 609-737-3753 with any questions or to register!
