Meet Kaitlin Paulsen, Hopewell Township’s new Clerk/Floater, who is currently working with the Health Department. Kate has been with the Township since the end of April, and while learning the ropes, she has primarily been working on fulfilling Open Public Records requests, managing licenses, helping at public clinics, and general Health Department communications.

Kate is a lifelong resident of Ewing, and has always worked in Hopewell Township, for the past 10 years at ShopRite. She is very happy to be working for the Township. As a Floater, she hopes to have an opportunity to work with all the various departments and learn what they do so she can plan her future in government work.

The Hopewell Township area has been good to Kate. “The people in Hopewell Township are so nice and welcoming,” Kate says, “and I love seeing familiar friendly faces from my previous jobs!”

Presently Kate and her new husband, Chris, live in Ewing. They love that they are surrounded by many members of their families, including all of their siblings. In the future, they are looking forward to purchasing their first home and starting a family, adding to the two dogs and four cats who currently live with them! When not at work, Kate likes to hang out with her family and friends, watch movies and TV, and take her dogs for long walks.
