Detective Alexis Mirra attended the Hopewell Elementary School Science Fair last week. Her “project” was the Science of Fingerprints. Detective Mirra demonstrated how a crime scene is processed and the importance of finding latent fingerprints that could lead to the suspect of a crime.

Detective Mirra had a great time with the students and some of them even got to help by providing their own fingerprints.
