New Jersey's toll-free vaccination hotline goes live

New Jersey’s COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center, which will be staffed seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., is live. The toll-free number is 855-568-0545. The call center can assist residents with:

• Registering with the New Jersey Vaccine Scheduling System (NJVSS)
• Identifying whether they are currently eligible for a vaccination
• Identifying vaccination locations
 • General questions about vaccines

State officials caution that due to limited vaccine supply, vaccination appointments are currently limited and will not be immediately available to callers. As appointments become available in NJVSS, call center agents will be ready to assist with scheduling.

The call center is staffed with both English- and Spanish-speaking agents, and is equipped to assist residents in more than 240 languages, according to the New Jersey Department of Health.

Residents who have Internet access are encouraged to register with NJVSS online at https://covidvaccine.nj.gov.
