The Spotted Lanternfly was busy laying its eggs throughout the fall. Now is a good time to get out and examine the trees and the surrounding surfaces in your landscape to check for the egg masses. Although the cold weather has killed off the adult lanternflies, the eggs have been laid and remain on the trees and in the landscape.
This video from the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Hunterdon County shows you how to remove these egg masses.
