The Cicadas Are Coming!

They're coming. If you lived in New Jersey in 2004, you know what to expect. If you didn't, you're in for quite the experience. This is the year of the 17-year cicada in our area. There will be trillions of them for about six weeks in early summer. They will be almost everywhere. They are harmless. They are loud. They are high in protein, if you're into that. They don't social distance. They're kinda clumsy flyers. Dogs like them. There will be a lot more information from all kinds of media outlets as their visit nears. It's a phenomenon of nature to be enjoyed. Can't wait!
