The Health Department is reporting 19 new cases over the past two weeks. Trends remain available on the Township’s COVID counter webpage. Recent case increases in New Jersey show the potential for outbreaks as we head into the holiday season. Vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself against infection and serious or fatal illness. Unvaccinated people are 6 times more likely to become infected and 11 times more likely to die from COVID-19, as compared to those who are fully vaccinated.
Mercer County is hosting free pop-up clinics, with all 3 COVID-19 vaccine options available, including booster doses and the pediatric Pfizer vaccine for ages 5 to 11. A parent or guardian must be present and provide consent for anyone under age 18. Appointments through the NJ Vaccine Scheduling System - https://covidvaccine.nj.gov/en-US/ - are recommended for children ages 5-11 (there will be limited walk-in slots available for those doses). No appointment is necessary for residents ages 12 and older.
