[ARCHIVED] Welcome Gina Sorbino!

Gina Sorbino and her nephew Logan at a farm

Hopewell Township is pleased to introduce you to a new member of our team, Gina Sorbino! She is our new clerk floater in the Administration department, currently spending her time working with the Health Department, as they catch up after dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. If you call the Health Department directly, you will speak with Gina.

Gina grew up in South Brunswick, where she still lives with her parents, Larry and Janet, who have been married for 30 years. She is close to her sister Angela and her nephew Logan.

She loves animals. She has a dog, Louie, who she adopted from the SAVE shelter 2 years ago. She also lives with another dog and 3 cats.

So far everything is going well for Gina at Hopewell Township. As a floater, she will have the opportunity to learn about the different departments and what they do. She hopes that it will be a strong start to a long career in local government. She says, “The job so far has been great. I have met wonderful people and interacted with terrific township residents. I’ve learned a lot and am excited to learn more within the months and years ahead.” Her plans for the future include taking classes to learn more about government.

When Gina is not at work, she likes to hang out with her friends, family, and pets. Her favorite activity is splurging on her nephew, which she does at every opportunity!
