Programs & Services

The Recreation Department offers a wide variety of community trips, family trips, senior programs, youth & teen programs, summer camps and community events, and are looking to expand our offerings even more!  Please take a few minutes to complete the Recreation Survey.

This fall we have trips planned to the following destinations:   Doolan’s Shore Club to see a Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons Tribute by “The Jersey Four,” Valley Forge National Historic Park, American Musical Theater to see “Joy to the World,” and Cairnwood Estate.

We have also added a trip for families to the Bronx Zoo over the NJEA School break.  And everyone can enjoy a Holiday Trip to NYC!  Register early for our trips…they go fast!

Our senior population… don’t forget to register for the Hopewell Valley Senior Citizen’s Annual Picnic on Thursday, September 12!  Join us at Washington Crossing State Park, Sullivan’s Grove, for a free afternoon of food, fun and music!  Call 609-737-3753 by September 4th to register!

Any senior whose birthday falls between July and December can also register for our Senior Birthday Breakfast on Friday, October 11!  This free event is our way of paying tribute to the seniors in our community!  Call 609-737-3753 to register.
