Programs & Services

The Recreation Department publishes two annual brochures that are mailed to every resident.  The current Spring/Summer 2019 Program Guide (PDF) details as wide variety of community trips, family trips, senior programs, youth & teen programs, summer camps and community events.

This spring and summer we are once again ready to explore places like the Garden State's hidden jewel;  the NJ State Botanical Gardens & Skylands Manor in Ringwood, NJ.  Our spring overnight trip will take us back to Newport, RI and Block Island for touring, sightseeing and exploring.  In June, we travel to Lancaster to see "Ovation" at the American Music Theatre and dine at our favorite smorgasbord - Shady Maple!  We secured tickets to see the Phillies take on the NY Mets with their newest acquisition - Mr. Bryce Harper!

In the fall, we will travel to Hershey, PA to tour the Antique Automobile Club's Museum, have a wonderful lunch buffet at the Hotel Hershey and conclude our day with a trolley tour of historic Hershey.  Our fall overnight trip will take us to the 1000 Islands region of NY - an area that is rich in history and a sightseer's paradise filled with breathtaking beauty.  Our 3-day trip will include a stop at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, a 2-Nation Boat Cruise on the St. Lawrence River, dinner and a show in Gananoque, Canada and a self-guided tour of Boldt Castle.  Take a look at all of the events listed under the "Register for Programs and Events" tab on the left side of this page and don't hesitate to register...they go fast!

In addition to all the fantastic Community Trips, there will be plenty of programs available to youth and teens this summer.  The Recreation Department will once again offer our two newest camps; Volleyball Camp and Softball Camp.  We will also sponsor Art in the Park, Baseball Camp, Wrestling Camp, Field Hockey League, Soccer Technical Training, Soccer Conditioning Camp and the US Sports Multi-Sport Camp.  In addition, we are once again offering four weeks of Teen Travel Camp with destinations that include beaches, amusement parks, themed restaurants, whitewater rafting and more!  Our summer camps are all led by some fantastic coaches and counselors who have been with us for many years.
