Please be advised that on or about Monday, February 11, 2019, bridge repairs are scheduled to commence on the Pennington Rocky-Hill Road Bridge over a Branch of Stony Brook, located between King George Road and Old Mill Road . The bridge deck has been deemed structurally deficient to the extent that a full deck replacement is immediately necessary. Anticipated duration of this project is approximately ninety working days, weather permitting. During construction, Pennington Rocky-Hill Road will be closed to through traffic on a 24/7 basis. Motorists will be directed to use Federal City Road and Old Mill Road. However, local access will be permitted up to King George Road from the west and up to the bridge from the east. Mercer County will post signs prior the start date advising motorists of the upcoming bridge closures. The project is being completed by the Mercer County Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.
