Earth Engineering Incorporated will be doing an investigation for the design of a 14-inch Sunoco Logistics Partners, L.P. pipeline at the Delaware River crossing from Wednesday, September 25th until Friday, September 27th. The installation will include crossing the Delaware River via horizontal directional drilling (HDD) techniques. One (1) boring will be drilled within the Delaware River on the New Jersey side. To access the Delaware River and Raritan Canal, the drilling team, will require crossing the Delaware and Raritan Canal and accessing the proposed boring location by driving along the towpath located between the canal and the river. To access the proposed boring location, the drill rig, a support pickup truck (F250) and personnel will cross the Delaware and Raritan Canal towpath at the Bernard Drive intersection depicted in Image 1, below. The drill rig and support truck will drive up-river along the towpath to the pipeline easement area. See Image 2, to indicate the path from the Canal Crossing and the proposed entry point, Image 3.
