Mercer County will conduct spraying for mosquitos in the Woodens Lane area of Hopewell Township between July 28 and August 2, weather permitting. The Truck-Mounted ULV Adulticide Application will occur between 9pm and sunrise.

The County sprays in specific areas when deemed absolutely necessary and under the appropriate environmental conditions. These applications are done in order to bring mosquito populations to tolerable levels or to reduce the risk of mosquito-borne diseases such as Zika and West Nile.

The products currently in use are Zenivex E4 (https://www.mercercounty.org/home/showdocument) or Duet (https://www.mercercounty.org/home/showdocument) and will be sprayed by truck.
