Mercer County will be spraying for mosquitos in the Federal City Rd and Old Mill Rd areas August 18-20, weather permitting. Spraying will occur between 9pm and sunrise. The county will be using the Truck-Mounted Alduticide Zenivex or Duet.
The Mercer County Mosquito Control office maintains no regular spraying schedule. The applications are conducted in specific areas when deemed absolutely necessary and under the appropriate environmental conditions. These applications are done in order to bring mosquito
populations to tolerable levels and to reduce the risk of mosquito-borne disease.
