The Mercer County Park Commission announced Baldpate Mountain and the Fiddler’s Creek Preserve will be CLOSED for firearm hunting beginning Monday, December 5 through Saturday, December 10 and every Wednesday through Saturday thereafter until February 11.  

The LAKE NORTH region only, at Mercer County Park, will be CLOSED for firearm hunting beginning Monday, December 5 through Saturday, December 10 and every Wednesday through Saturday thereafter until February 11.  

During these closures, trails and parking areas will be closed to the public. Please do not enter the above locations during the posted closure dates. As a reminder: Mercer Meadows, Roebling Park and the southern half of Mercer County Park will remain accessible for passive recreation during this time.  

Reminder: Hunting is only permitted by those who have applied for and met all the requirements to participate in the program.
