[ARCHIVED] The Hopewell Township Health Department Offers Water and Radon Testing

Public Health logo

Test your well water for coliform bacteria and test your home for radon. The Hopewell Township Health Department has FREE kits you can use for both!

~Ensure your well water is clean. Instructions will be provided about how to collect the water and when to return your well water sample. Residents only; while supplies last. Visit WellOwner.org to find educational resources about private well water systems and groundwater protection. More info

~Radon is found naturally in all outdoor air, but it is diluted (spread out) to levels that do not put people at risk. Radon can get trapped in any home or building, whether it has a basement or not, is new or old, or is drafty or sealed. When radon builds up in the indoor air, people who breathe it in can develop lung cancer over time. Don’t delay - protect your family by taking this simple test. More info
