[ARCHIVED] Hopewell Township raises the flag for Pride Month
On June 1st, Hopewell Township officials and Hopewell Township Police gathered to raise the Pride flag above the Municipal Building to show support for our LGBTQIA+ community. Sergeant Alexis Mirra, a member of the PD and the LGBTQ community, sent the flag up the pole.
In honor of Pride Month, for the second year, the HTPD will be selling collectible Pride police patches, with the proceeds to benefit LifeTies, an organization in Ewing that provides care and services to youth in crisis due to sexual orientation, gender, abuse, neglect, homelessness, HIV/AIDS, Lupus, and Diabetes. The drive is being spearheaded by Sgt. Mirra. The new patches will be available soon and can be obtained by contacting HTPD by stopping in at the department or calling 609-737-3100.
