Micro Paving involves the spreading of a thin layer of liquid asphalt premixed in a specialized truck with sand and fine stone. As this layer hardens, it turns black in color. This will be the final surface on your roadway.
Roads included:
Featherbed Lane
Harbourton Woodsville Road
Mine Road
Minnietown Lane
Mountain Church Road
Pleasant Valley Road
Province Line Road
Ridgewood Avenue
Sky View Drive
Sunset Drive
Van Dyke Road
West Scotch Road
This work will be performed in a manner that completes one-half of the road at a time. During the work, no on-street parking will be permitted. In addition, use of driveways along the work area is prohibited while the materials harden. Hardening can take up to 2 hours, weather depending. Please have all lawn irrigation systems shut down between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:30 pm. Contractor personnel on-site will be available to help you during these restricted time periods.
Roads will be open to emergency vehicles at all times. If you have special needs such as a wedding, large party, etc., please contact us by email as far in advance as possible at HSeeburger@VanCleefEngineering.com and we will work to accommodate you.
Working with liquid asphalt is challenging. Liquid asphalt, when wet, will stick to shoes, clothing, cars and paws. It is extremely difficult to remove. Please do not drive, walk or allow pets near any wet material.
The Township and our paving contractor, Asphalt Paving Systems, thank you in advance for your cooperation during these much needed improvements.
