The Hopewell Township Police Department is currently selling limited edition pride patches for $10, while supplies last. All proceeds for the patches will be going to Triad House in Ewing, NJ. Triad House is an LGBTQ+ affirming shelter for youth ages 16-21, who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. The program provides individualized treatment for youth to deal with, and overcome, the effects of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse and to achieve their goals. Triad House offers individual, group, and family counseling, life skill training, educational planning, mentorship, and other important services, all while promoting an inclusive and safe environment.
Patches can be purchased by sending your $10 payment via Venmo to "@Hopewellpba342". Please include “pride patch”, along with your name and address in the note. Local delivery, as well as domestic shipping, are available. Cash payments will be accepted at the police department or at a local residence at the time of delivery. Please contact the department’s LGBTQ Liaison, Sgt. Alexis Mirra, via email, if you are looking to pay with cash. She can be reached at amirra@hopewelltwp.org.
