The Hopewell Township Health Department is conducting a very quick survey to assess community interest for a shingles vaccination clinic. CDC recommends that adults 50 years and older get two doses of the shingles vaccine to prevent shingles and complications from the disease. Adults 19 years and older who have weakened immune systems should also get two doses. The vaccine is recommended even if you had shingles in the past.
