Jersey Central Power & Light Company is planning to replace an existing cable on the Pleasant Valley – Hopewell OPGW Fiber line to enhance network communications on their electric system.

Construction will continue for several months within the existing right-of-way. In most cases, helicopters will be used to install the required cables. They do not anticipate any disruption to electric service because of this project.
