Wednesday, June 17, is New Jersey’s statewide Census Day of Action.
The good news: Nearly 76% of Hopewell Township households have already responded to the United States Census. That is a much higher rate than Mercer County, New Jersey, or the nation.
But that mans nearly one out of every four households in Hopewell Township has not responded.
It is vitally important that every household respond to the Census. Information collected by the 2020 Census will determine how federal funding is distributed to New Jersey, Mercer County, and the Township. The information will also determine the number of representatives New Jersey will send to the House of Representatives.
If you have responded, THANK YOU! If you haven’t, please send back the form you received in the mail, log on to www.2020census.gov, or call 844-330-2020.
Please remember that you are required to respond. If you do not, a Census worker will contact you and visit your home to collect the information.
Stand up and be counted! #NJCensus2020 #StrengthInNumbers
