Chris Swanson promoted to Road Foreman
Hopewell Township and the Department of Public Works is happy to announce that Chris Swanson of Titusville has been promoted to Road Foreman.
A lifelong resident of Titusville and proud graduate of Hopewell Valley Central High School, Chris has worked for the Township for 22 years. In 1998 he was hired to be a laborer. Following a couple of years in that role, Chris transferred to the Recreation Department, where he worked until his recent promotion.
Chris is happy to be back working with the Department of Public Works. He says “There are currently 18 members of the DPW that I will be working alongside with. The DPW reminds me every day of a bee hive, with everyone having a certain purpose. We stand to serve our neighbors, and keeping the commuters safe. I am looking forward to the road ahead of me and, what the future may bring.”
George Snyder, Director of Public Works, says “Chris’ work ethic has made him an essential member of the Public Works Department since he started in 1998. As a Foreman, he strives to equip our employees with the tools they need for success and provide the residents with optimal service. I am excited to have Chris as a member of our leadership team as the Department progresses through 2021 and beyond.”
Chris and his wife Jesse, also a lifelong Titusville resident, have twin girls who attend Bear Tavern Elementary School.
Congratulations on your promotion to Road Foreman, Chris!
