Mayor Blake shares important announcements for June. It's a busy month!

Hi, I am Julie Blake, Mayor of Hopewell Township.
I would like to to update you on a few things that are happening in the Township for the Month of June.
On June 1st, we will have a Pride Month flag raising ceremony in front of the Twp building at 4 pm. Come join us as we recognize the human rights of all citizens and support an end to all forms of prejudice and discrimination.
At 6 pm on the 1st we will have a shortened meeting with a few item on the agenda for the police and Community Development.
On June 4th, we will be wearing Orange for the National Gun Violence Awareness Day.
On June 14th at our Township meeting, we will be discussing and considering opting out of the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization Act”
We will also be recognizing several officers within the police department.
On June 19th, we will be part of the celebrations honoring Freedom Day or Juneteenth and there will be a bike ride that starts in Trenton that will include Hopewell. Keep a lookout for the sign up for that event and others.
Finally, at the end of the month, there will be several public meetings with utilities that serve Hopewell Twp.
On June 23rd at 6:30 pm, there will be a public meeting for TWW.
On June 29th, at 5:30 pm, there will be a public meeting for PSE&G
And on June 30th, at 5:30 there will be a public meeting for JCP&L
Those meeting day sign- ups will be posted on our website in the next few weeks.
