Due to deteriorated pavement surface conditions, Jacobs Creek Road (County Route 637) in Ewing Township between NJ Route 29 and Bear Tavern Road is scheduled for milling and resurfacing by the Mercer County Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. Work is expected to begin Monday, Aug. 23, with an anticipated completion time of approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
During construction, Jacobs Creek Road will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; however, access will be permitted for local residents, and municipal and emergency vehicles. Motorists will be directed to use Washington Crossing Road, NJ Route 29 and Bear Tavern Road.
