PSE&G construction on Carter Road will pause until mid-October so the trenches can settle before paving. Contractors will return at that time to repave the road.

PSE&G recently completed electric system upgrades in your neighborhood, including the installation of underground manholes and conduits along Carter Road in Hopewell and Lawrence Townships. We would like to thank you sincerely for your patience throughout our construction. Your cooperation has supported our efforts to improve service reliability and better prepare your community for severe weather.

While the upgraded electric system is now in service, the restoration work and final paving of the road still remains. Carter Road will be repaved curb-to-curb the entire length of the project area in late October 2021. Additional notifications will be sent prior to the start of any paving activity.
