September is National Preparedness Month. This month we sent out daily posts about things you can do in your home to be prepared if an emergency or disaster occurs.

Create a plan today. Your family may not be together if a disaster strikes. Know how you’ll contact one another and reconnect if separated. Establish a family meeting place that’s familiar and easy to find. Discuss planning with your family and other members of your household.
