The Hopewell Township Police are busy with charitable endeavors!
During October, November, and December, PBA Local 342 (comprised of officers from Hopewell Twp and Pennington Borough) are participating in No Shave Months! The officers are donating money and growing out their beards to raise funds and show support for multiple local charities. Donations will be made to the following organizations:
October: Capital Health Hospital – Hopewell – Cancer Center
November: The Jilly Bean Foundation - https://jillybeanfoundation.org/
December: Food Pantry at Hopewell Valley YMCA
And there's more! For the entire month of October, officers can be seen wearing pink shirts and pink ribbon pins for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
October 24, 2021 –Come cheer on our local heroes at the 2nd Annual Police vs. Fire Charity Flag Football to benefit the Center for Comprehensive Breast Care at Capital Health Hospital. $5.00 admission will include coffee, hot chocolate, chips & pretzels, which have kindly been donated by local businesses.
October 31, 2021 – Officers will be participating in the D&R Halloween Masquerade at St. Michael’s Preserve in Hopewell Borough. The event is a family-friendly drive-thru Halloween Parade. https://drgreenway.org/events/dr-greenway-land-trust-masquerade-parade-2021/. Hope to see you there!
