PSE&G has been actively working to improve electric reliability in Hopewell Township. Below you will find construction updates regarding road surface restoration:
- On Friday, November 19, 2021, PSE&G and our approved contractors will mill in front of the Mt. Rose Station along Hopewell-Princeton Road.
- On Saturday, November 20, 2021, PSE&G’s approved contractors will pave Carter Road at the Cherry Valley Road, Pennington-Rocky Hill Road and Hopewell-Princeton Road intersection.
Work activities will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. During road restoration, the work area will be closed and motorists will be directed to follow the detours. Residents within the work zone will have access to their driveways. PSE&G is coordinating with the local police department to minimize any inconvenience.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in the interest of maintaining the safety of our customers, our employees, and their families, PSE&G workers and PSE&G contractors follow safety guidelines put into place by the CDC and NJ State Department of Health, as well as all directives from the Governor’s Office and county/municipal governments. This includes that our workers practice social distancing and we ask that you also maintain a safe distance from our crews. PSE&G will not need to enter your home or business as a result of this work.
Safety is our highest priority. It is essential that you and everyone using your property, including children and pets, refrain from going near our construction work zones.
