Leaves are being collected all over the Township! We are not on a schedule, but all areas will be collected. Our final collection will start December 13, so be sure your leaves are out by Sunday, December 12!
Important details-
- Leaf pickup only, don’t mix in brush (tree stumps, limbs and sticks)- your leaves can’t be picked up if it contains brush. The reason for this is that brush and leaves are handled differently. Brush is mulched and leaves are composted.
- Do not place leaves in the street, gutter, sidewalk, or within 10 feet of any storm drain inlet.

- Your pile needs to be under 8 feet wide (see diagram).
- Leaves on County Roads are collected by the county. The county has already collected in the Township twice this year! They might pick up again, but there’s no guarantee. They emphasize that they can’t pick up leaves that are bagged or that contain brush- their giant leaf vacuums are not able to handle bagged leaves or tree limbs, etc.
