Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order 4 free, at-⁠home, COVID-⁠19 tests. The tests are completely free. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days. Order your tests from the US government now so you have them when you need them.

ABOUT THE AT-⁠HOME COVID-⁠19 TESTS

The tests available from the government:

  • Are rapid antigen at-home tests, not PCR
  • Can be taken anywhere
  • Give results within 30 minutes (no lab drop-off required)
  • Work whether or not you have COVID-⁠19 symptoms
  • Work whether or not you are up to date on your COVID-⁠19 vaccines
  • Are also referred to self-tests or over-the-counter (OTC) tests

They won't start shipping until the end of January, so if you need a test now, use Mercer County testing-

Mercer County has partnered with the New Jersey Department of Health and Vault to offer free COVID-19 testing at CURE Insurance Arena, Gate C, 81 Hamilton Ave., Trenton. No appointment necessary. Testing is for anyone ages 2 and up who lives, works, or goes to school in New Jersey. Test type is based on availability. The upcoming schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, Jan. 19, 9am - 2pm
NO TESTING ON THURSDAY, JAN. 20
Friday, Jan. 21, 9am - 2pm
Monday, Jan. 24, 9am - 2pm
Tuesday, Jan. 25, 9am - 2pm
