SPOTTED LANTERNFLY

This insect, first discovered in Pennsylvania in 2014, has migrated to New Jersey and have been seen in the Township. The first instars of the insect are active during the summer months. The insect is considered extremely destructive to agricultural crops, and efforts to eradicate the insect should be taken whenever they are found.
