NJ FamilyCARE  is a Federal and state-funded health insurance program created to help qualified New Jersey residents of any age access affordable health insurance. NJ FamilyCare is for people who do not have employer insurance. Registration is open year-round. If you are already covered by NJ Family Care, keep an eye out for a confirmation packet in the mail and make sure to complete it or you risk losing coverage. 

Get Covered NJ New Jersey and the federal government are offering record levels of financial help to lower the cost of health insurance for most enrollees. Open registration is at the end of each year. This program can be accessed year-round if you have a life change, such as a baby, marriage, etc.  

New Jersey Citizen Action provides free ACA education, outreach, and assistance services to New Jersey residents to help them understand and apply for affordable healthcare coverage through New Jersey’s health insurance marketplace, including GetCoveredNJ and NJFamilyCare.
