September is National Preparedness Month. This month we will be sending out regular posts about things you can do in your home to be prepared if an emergency or disaster occurs .
Topic #8- Know your Alerts and Warnings

Local officials and private industry are working together to make sure you can receive alerts and warnings quickly through several different technologies no matter where you are– at home, at school, at work, or in the community.
